The iconic seven-seat Volvo XC90 has been updated with a fresh look and enhanced interior, staying true to its heritage while its electric counterpart, the Volvo EX90, hits the roads. The latest updates include a redesigned grille, sleeker headlights, and an upgraded dashboard with a larger touchscreen display. Equipped with advanced features like Google Maps and Apple CarPlay, the XC90 continues to lead the way in luxury SUVs.Technological advancements in the new XC90 include improved ambient lighting and a 360-degree camera system with a split-screen display. The 12-inch fully digital driver's display remains unchanged, focusing on sustainable materials and practicality based on feedback from current XC90 owners. Additional storage space in the centre console, an extra cup holder for narrow drinks cans, and a relocated wireless smartphone charger add to the convenience. Acoustic foam has been added to the A and B-pillars to reduce road and wind noise, enhancing the overall refinement of the vehicle.Every new XC90 comes standard with seven seats, with the second and third rows folding completely flat to create up to 1,856 litres of cargo space. Available with a mild-hybrid petrol engine or a plug-in hybrid powertrain, both with all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The B5 model offers 247bhp and 360Nm of torque, while the B6 model features 295bhp and 420Nm. The T8 plug-in hybrid delivers 449bhp and 709Nm of torque, with an electric motor on the rear axle and an 18.8kWh battery. The XC90 T8 boasts an electric range of up to 70 kilometers and a claimed fuel economy of up to 100 kilometers per liter. The new XC90 will be available for ordering in Cyprus starting in October.
