Right-hand drive Tesla Model Y 7-seater now available, but limited to one variant
04.10.2024
The seven-seat version of the Tesla Model Y, now available in right-hand drive countries, is only offered in the Long Range All-Wheel Drive variant. This new Tesla Model Y Long Range AWD Seven-Seater can be ordered for an additional cost of €2,900 compared to the five-seat version.
The added seats can be folded flat to increase storage space and come with cupholders and USB-C charging ports. The second-row seats can be easily folded forward for access to the third row.
With all seven seats up, the Model Y offers 363 liters of boot space, with additional storage under the front hood. Folding down the rear seats expands luggage capacity to 753 liters, or up to 2,040 liters with only the front seats in use.
The dual-motor powertrain remains the same, providing all-wheel drive and a quick 0-100 km/h time of 4.8 seconds. The claimed range is 533 kilometers, although it may be reduced with a full load of passengers and luggage.
The Model Y maintains its fast charging speed of 250 kW, allowing for up to 240 kilometers of range in just 15 minutes using a Tesla Supercharger.
Standard features of the Model Y Long Range AWD include a 15.4-inch central display, 19-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic glass roof, heated seats for all passengers, dual-zone climate control, and adaptive cruise control.
Deliveries of the first seven-seat right-hand drive Tesla Model Y Long Range AWD are expected by the end of the year.
