14.08.2024
The restomod trend is gaining popularity, with Singer leading the way in the industry. Based in California, this company has expanded its Porsche 911 Turbo project to include different body styles such as coupe, targa, and cabriolet, in addition to the standard coupe model introduced in 2022. Singer's custom restorations are built on the owner's own 964-generation Porsche 911, showcasing the company's craftsmanship and attention to detail.A standout feature of Singer's latest project is the exclusive 'slantnose' option, inspired by rare 946-generation cars. This design includes a unique sloped front end, slatted air vents, and a distinctive rear spoiler, adding a touch of nostalgia to the modernized vehicles. All 930 Turbo models by Singer come equipped with Porsche's iconic five-spoke Fuchs wheels, enhancing the classic aesthetic of the cars.
Under the hood, Singer's creations are powered by a robust Mezger flat-six engine, delivering an impressive 503bhp through twin turbochargers and advanced cooling systems. This is a significant upgrade from the original 964 911 Turbo's 335bhp and the 930 Turbo's 265bhp, showcasing Singer's commitment to performance and innovation in the realm of restomod vehicles.Singer's restomods offer a unique and powerful driving experience, but with a starting price of approximately €600,000 (excluding the donor car), they are a luxurious investment for enthusiasts.
