The updated Porsche Panamera range has been expanded with two new high-performance versions: the Panamera GTS, known for being the most engaging to drive in Porsche’s front-engined range, and the impressive Turbo S E-Hybrid, which boasts a powerful 771 hp engine. The Turbo S E-Hybrid combines a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine with an electric motor for a combined output of 771 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque. This enables the Panamera to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 324 km/h.
The hybrid module in all Panamera models includes an e-motor producing 187 hp and a 25.9 kWh battery, offering up to 87 kilometers of zero-emission driving. In testing, the Turbo S E-Hybrid achieved a record-breaking lap time of 7 minutes and 24.1 seconds on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, underscoring its impressive performance.
While Porsche has not disclosed the exact weight of the new Turbo S E-Hybrid, it is expected to be similar to the non-S variant, which weighs just under 2,400 kilograms. To manage this weight, the car is equipped with advanced chassis technology, including Active Ride Control, which replaces traditional anti-roll bars. Additionally, the Turbo S E-Hybrid features Porsche’s largest front carbon-ceramic brakes, 21-inch center-lock forged wheels with Michelin Cup 2 tires, and a new Carbon Aero package for improved aerodynamics.
The updated Panamera GTS, powered by a 4.0-liter V8 engine with 493 hp, offers a more driver-focused experience. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and comes standard with Porsche’s adaptive air suspension, Sports Exhaust system, and torque-vectoring rear differential.
Both models are available for order now, with deliveries beginning in early 2025. For a list of Porsche vehicles available in Cyprus, click here.
