Refreshed Audi e-tron GT debuts with a powerful 912bhp RS model

Audi has announced pricing for its updated e-tron GT 'four-door coupe' lineup following its June debut. The range starts with the 'S' model, followed by the RS and the range-topping RS Performance. The e-tron GT features a refreshed exterior design, upgraded battery technology, and increased power. Customer deliveries are set to begin in late summer.Sharing the same J1 platform as the Porsche Taycan, the e-tron GT is equipped with a single 97kWh battery unit, which is 4kWh more energy dense than before. It also features lighter and more powerful electric motors across all models. The RS Performance model offers 912bhp, reaching 0-100km in 2.5 seconds, while the RS model provides 844bhp with a 2.8 second acceleration time, and the entry-level S model delivers 669bhp with a 3.4 second acceleration.The efficiency of the e-tron GT has been significantly improved, with estimated ranges of up to 604 km in the 'S' model, and up to 585 km and 583 km in the RS and RS Performance models, respectively. The charging hardware has been upgraded to accept up to 320kW DC fast charging, allowing for quick battery replenishment.Standard features for the e-tron GT include a redesigned adaptive air suspension system, modified steering ratio, and new standard features such as 20-inch alloy wheels and an uprated sound system for the S model. The RS model offers unique styling elements, a virtual cockpit display, and a rear-axle differential lock. The RS Performance variant includes ceramic brakes, a carbon finish option, and luxurious amenities like front seat ventilation and massage function.Overall, the Audi e-tron GT lineup offers a range of options for customers looking for performance and luxury in an electric vehicle.
