The 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E has undergone numerous updates, enhancing its aesthetics and incorporating new features. Set to be released in the UK and Europe in the spring, one of the key additions is the new 'Sport Appearance Package,' which allows customers to achieve the high-performance look of the GT trim, even on more budget-friendly models. This package includes a redesigned grille, updated front end design, black-painted door cladding, and 19-inch wheels. In the US, the models also come with red Brembo brake callipers, while UK Premium models already have this feature included.
On the inside, the 2025 Mach-E with the Sport package includes contrasting red stitching and sport-style pedals. Ford is introducing three new exterior colors for 2025: Molten Magenta Metallic, Velocity Blue Metallic, and Desert Sand, along with three additional wheel options. While the availability of these features in the UK is not confirmed yet, UK-bound Premium models will come standard with ventilated front seats. The interior now boasts a column-mounted gear shifter instead of the previous rotary dial, creating more space on the console. Moreover, a heat pump is now a standard feature, enhancing range and efficiency, particularly in colder weather conditions.
Ford has upgraded its BlueCruise system to version 1.5, enabling automated lane changes in specific circumstances. With BlueCruise 1.5, lane changes can be initiated when the vehicle ahead is slower than the set speed or when there is a vehicle following too closely in the passing lane. On an average journey, BlueCruise 1.5 can automate up to 45% of lane changes. The system can be activated through an over-the-air update, with subscription options available for a 90-day free trial, an annual fee, or a lifetime purchase.
While pricing details are yet to be disclosed, the current base Ford Mustang Mach-E Select starts from €50,000, with a slight increase anticipated for the 2025 model upon its launch in the second quarter of the year.
