The story behind that earlier marvel is just as captivating. It all began at the behest of Italian Martini heir, ‘Count’ Gregorio Rossi di Montelera, a devoted aficionado of the brand. Rossi managed, against all odds, to secure a license plate for his modified Porsche 917—of all places, in Alabama! To transform the race car into something roadworthy, Porsche added a series of clever modifications: exhaust silencers, extra mirrors, side indicators for safety, a horn for good measure, and yes, even a spare tire. Yet, in the case of the 963, the modifications are remarkably more extensive and breathtaking. Instead of the race-ready wrap, this stunning hypercar boasts an ultra-sleek carbon fiber and Kevlar body, painted in the striking Martini Silver—a color authentically verified by the Porsche Museum in Germany using archival records.
Glistening at the front is a majestic enamel Porsche badge, replacing the usual sticker, while the design features New vents on the front wings to enhance both aerodynamics and style. Adding to the exclusivity, a unique 3D printed badge makes a statement on the rear light bar, showcasing Porsche’s commitment to innovation.
