Porsche cars in Cyprus
Porsche holds value on the island better than almost anything in the segment, and it is the one marque where the option list moves the future price more than the mileage does. A well-built 911 stays in demand for years; a sparsely specified one sells for less and takes longer to sell. None of that is visible in an advert. So we start from the list of what the car must have, search the British and Japanese markets for it, and pull the factory specification by chassis number instead of trusting the seller's description. You get one landed price in the agreement before anything is paid, and one contract covering purchase, shipping, customs and registration.
Which versions are worth importing
The 911 — from Carrera through GT3 to GT2 RS — is bought as an asset, and its documented history is what sets the price. The Macan remains the most common way into the marque: compact, calm in town and predictable to run. The Cayenne covers the family, the Panamera the long runs, and the Taycan suits an island of short journeys better than anywhere else. We are equally comfortable finding a hard-edged car or a calm one — the question is how you intend to use it.
Buying a used Porsche: what matters
We import cars up to five years old, so the question is rarely condition and almost always specification. Sport Chrono, the right seats, the correct wheel and brake package, ceramics or steel — two cars with identical mileage are worth different money. We pull the factory build data against the chassis number and attach the printout to the report. Then come ownership history, accident data and the mileage record, each with the document it came from. On a Porsche every line of the build sheet shows up again in the resale price, which is why we hand you the printout rather than describe it.
Common mistakes when buying one
The first is chasing a low price on a sparsely specified car: a base 911 or Cayenne loses value faster and takes longer to sell. The second is treating ceramic brakes as an automatic advantage; in town they are more often a cost. The third is ignoring track history on the GT cars — a track past is not a disqualifier, but you need to know in advance. The fourth is buying on the seller's photographs alone. Light and angle in an advert hide exactly what matters, which is why we read the documents first.
Where we source from and why
The UK gives volume and transparent service records; Japan supplies cars in a condition the European used market rarely matches, with the auction sheet as an independent assessment. For the 911 and Cayenne we watch both markets at once and choose the individual car, not the country. The electric Taycan is the exception: we take it from the UK only. A British car arrives with the European CCS2 connector and charges on local stations as it is, with no adapter, and the Porsche factory warranty carries over to Cyprus while it still has time left on it. A Japanese-market Taycan is not covered. Right-hand drive is a requirement here, not a limitation: Cyprus drives on the left.
Price and what ownership costs
Cars in stock in Cyprus carry a price in the listing, alongside year and mileage. A commission gives you one final landed price — car, shipping, duty and VAT where applicable, registration and our work — confirmed in the agreement before anything is paid. Road tax is calculated on CO₂ output and the spread within the marque is enormous: the Taycan is exempt entirely, nothing a year, while a Cayenne Turbo sits above 180 g/km at ten euros per gram and runs into the fifteen hundred ceiling. How a commission works
Specification first, the search second, a report on every candidate third. You choose, we inspect and buy. After that comes shipping, duty and VAT, then registration.
