Mercedes CLE Coupe now offers plug-in hybrid

With its new plug-in hybrid powertrain, the Mercedes CLE has surpassed the BMW 4 Series, making it a more enticing option for company car drivers. The CLE 300 e, equipped with EQ Hybrid Technology, combines a 201hp 2.0-liter petrol engine, a 127hp electric motor, and a 25.4kWh battery, resulting in a total output of 309hp and 550Nm of torque. This sleek two-door coupe, with rear-wheel-drive, can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds.

With its plug-in hybrid system, the CLE 300 e achieves an impressive fuel efficiency of up to 1,914 km/L and can travel up to 111 km on electric power alone, reducing CO2 emissions. Available in AMG Line Premium, AMG Line Premium Plus, and Premier Edition trims, the CLE 300 e is equipped with luxurious features including a large touchscreen, digital driver's display, comfort suspension, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, and advanced driver assistance technology.

Mercedes also offers diesel plug-in hybrid options in the E-Class and GLE models. The E 300 de boasts a 109 km electric range, while the GLE 300 de covers 101 km on battery power.
