Meet the all-new, second-generation Mercedes GLB: a boxy, bold seven-seater that looks familiar but feels thoroughly upgraded. The silhouette remains almost cubic — tall roofline, short overhangs — but the stance is sharper, the details more assertive. Sleek headlights carry the three-pointed star signature, the grille is studded with 94 tiny illuminated stars, and even the huge centre badge can glow. There’s space for a smartphone — wireless charging is optional — and a roomy open compartment underneath for daily clutter. Owners asked for physical controls on the wheel, so Mercedes added rocker switches for audio volume and adaptive cruise control: a rare nod to tactile convenience in a high-tech cabin. Space is a headline claim. Compared with its predecessor the new model is almost 100 mm longer and the wheelbase stretches by 60 mm, and the benefits are tangible.
