Ferrari is set to introduce cryptocurrency payments in its dealer network across Europe by the end of July, following a successful trial in the U.S. This development will allow affluent traders to discreetly acquire their desired luxury car using blockchain technology.
To facilitate these transactions, Ferrari has partnered with crypto experts to automatically convert payments into traditional currencies like Pound Sterling and euro, protecting against the volatile fluctuations in the cryptocurrency market.
While Ferrari is leading the way in this initiative, other automotive brands such as BMW in the UK and Tesla have also started accepting crypto payments. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, has even expressed interest in enabling Dogecoin payments for Tesla vehicles in the future.
