Which versions are worth importing
The Range Rover is bought for presence and distance, the Range Rover Sport when the same level is wanted with more composure. The Velar is more often chosen for town use, the Evoque when size is the point. The Defender has long been a town car here that can still leave the tarmac at weekends, while the Discovery and Discovery Sport cover the family. Diesel still makes sense over distance; the plug-in hybrid pays off for owners driving in Limassol and charging at home.
Buying a used Land Rover: what matters
Almost every car of this marque on the island is used, and that is where the decision is made. We work only with cars up to five years old, which rules out ageing electronics and accumulated suspension problems. Price and what ownership costs
Cars in stock in Cyprus carry a price in the listing, next to the year, mileage and output. If the vehicle you want is not in stock, a commission gives you one final landed price — the car, shipping, duty and VAT where applicable, registration and our work — confirmed in the agreement before anything is paid. Road tax is a separate line: it is calculated on CO₂ output, a petrol V8 sits above 180 g/km at ten euros per gram and runs into the ceiling of fifteen hundred a year, while a plug-in hybrid Range Rover falls into the lowest band.
