Description

The road tax on this vehicle costs less than lunch. €17 a year is what the road tax is for a Range Rover Evoque P300e that emits 34 g/km on paper and nothing at all on a typical morning. This Evoque P300e in Evoque Edition specification was commissioned from the United Kingdom to a client's brief, imported, cleared and handed over in Limassol. This vehicle is not for sale.

The arithmetic is what makes this version of the Evoque interesting. A 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo drives the front wheels, an electric motor drives the rear and together they produce 300 hp and 540 Nm. Around 60 kilometres of pure electric range covers a typical day in Cyprus — school, office, gym, supermarket — without the petrol engine engaging once. Plug it in overnight at home and fuel becomes something you buy for the drive to Paphos rather than the drive to work. When both power sources pull together, 100 km/h arrives in roughly 6.4 seconds, which is quicker than the badge or the tax bill suggests. It also supports DC rapid charging — a rarity among plug-in hybrids — so a public charger takes the battery to 80 percent in about half an hour.

The Evoque Edition was a limited-run specification built around R-Dynamic styling with the brightwork deleted. Gloss black 20-inch Style 5079 split-spoke wheels on Pirelli tyres, black bonnet and tailgate lettering, black detailing where chrome would normally sit — all of it against Seoul Pearl Silver, a pale metallic that reads almost white in the midday sun and properly silver at dusk. Premium LED headlights with the signature running-light graphic and animated indicators finish the front end.

The Edition specification was sold in the United Kingdom, which is the reason this exact vehicle does not exist on the Cypriot market. The UK is the largest right-hand-drive market in Europe for plug-in hybrids. Commissioning from it means choosing from hundreds of examples rather than settling for whichever one happens to be on the island.

Inside is Cloud over Ebony: pale grey grained leather seats against a black cabin with gradated linear dark aluminium trim across the fascia. The light interior is the option most buyers skip and it changes the character of the cabin completely — larger, calmer, cooler in the heat. The sliding panoramic roof opens rather than merely letting light through. Heated front seats and a heated soft-grain leather steering wheel handle the three weeks of the year Cyprus calls winter. A power tailgate handles the boot, which holds approximately 470 litres with the rear seats up and around 1,150 litres folded. Pivi Pro runs navigation and media with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while the premium Meridian audio system covers everything else.

Adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, parking sensors at both ends and a rear-view camera make up the assistance package. The footprint is the quietly practical part of the story: full Range Rover presence in 4.37 metres of length, which fits into the Limassol parking spaces the larger models drive past. The driving position still sits high, the visibility is still commanding and the badge on the bonnet still reads the same as it does on the vehicle three sizes up.

This vehicle was commissioned through the UK market with the process handled end to end: sourcing against the client's brief, HPI history verification, purchase, shipping, customs clearance and registration in Cyprus. It has been delivered to its owner and is not for sale. If the arithmetic works for you too, describe the specification and the search for your new vehicle begins.

Excellent service, always in touch, offering many good options. I received the car a month after payment, everything was completed, and they delivered it home with a bouquet of flowers and champagne. I haven't had such a pleasant experience in Cyprus in a long time. I highly recommend it.

I want to say a big thank you to Irakliy, who helped us buy and import our car from the UK. From the first message in Telegram until the moment we got the keys, everything was very smooth. Irakliy was always polite, friendly and easy to talk to. He explained the process clearly, helped us...

Irakli was excellent. Above and beyond everywhere. The easiest car buying process I’ve had, and that's saying something since it was an import rather than a physical dealer. Everything was upfront from the beginning: price, fees, timing, what needed to happen, and what I needed to do. No weird negotiation, no surprises, no feeling like...
