Description

Caesium is the element atomic clocks are built around — the metal that defines the exact length of a second. Jaguar named this paint after it and on the I-PACE the name fits: deep ocean blue in shade, bright metallic violet-blue the moment the Cyprus sun touches it. This vehicle was commissioned from the United Kingdom to one client's precise brief, imported, cleared and handed over in LImassol. This vehicle not for sale.

It is also not the first I-PACE to pass through our hands and not even the first in this exact colour. There is a reason the same specification keeps getting ordered. The I-PACE arrived before the German competition it embarrassed and left production before most of them caught up, which turned the final examples into something the configurator can no longer produce. The Black Limited Edition was one of the last ways to order it: full HSE equipment with every piece of exterior brightwork switched to gloss black. The grille and its surround, the mirror caps, the side vents and the 20-inch five-spoke Style 5068 wheels all sit black against the blue. Against this colour the effect is sharper than on any other in the palette.

Two electric motors send 400 hp and 696 Nm to all four wheels from the first millimetre of accelerator travel. 100 km/h arrives in 4.8 seconds and the loudest thing in the cabin while it happens is the climate control. The 90 kWh battery returns a WLTP range of approximately 470 kilometres — Limassol to Paphos and back twice on a single charge. CO2 output is zero, so the annual Cyprus road tax is zero as well. An 11 kW home wallbox refills it overnight and the cost per kilometre embarrasses every combustion vehicle with comparable performance.

The battery lies flat in the floor between the axles, which hands the I-PACE a centre of gravity conventional SUVs cannot reach. It changes direction like a sports saloon and rides with the calm of a vehicle carrying its mass in exactly the right place. Adaptive cruise control manages motorway distance. Lane-keeping assist and blind-spot monitoring cover the flanks. Parking sensors and a rear-view camera manage the geometry the driver cannot see.

The cabin runs against the exterior's darkness. Light Oyster Windsor leather sport seats with Light Oyster stitching sit inside an Ebony environment with gloss black trim finishers — pale surfaces where you touch, dark surfaces everywhere else. The front seats are heated, cooled and electrically adjustable with memory. The steering wheel is heated, which sounds unnecessary for Cyprus until the first January morning on the road into the Troodos foothills. A fixed panoramic glass roof runs overhead and fills the cabin with light without a single moving part to age. Pivi Pro handles navigation and media across the twin-screen layout with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while the Meridian sound system works in a cabin quiet enough to give it a fair stage.

Boot capacity is approximately 656 litres with the rear seats up and over 1,450 litres folded, with a further 27-litre compartment under the bonnet where an engine would normally live. Five seats, a flat floor and storage designed by people who actually carry things.

This vehicle was commissioned through the United Kingdom market with the full process handled end to end: sourcing against the client's brief, HPI history verification, purchase, shipping, customs clearance and registration in Cyprus. It has been delivered to its owner and is not for sale. If this is the specification you want, let us know and the search for the next one starts.

I want to say a big thank you to Irakliy, who helped us buy and import our car from the UK. From the first message in Telegram until the moment we got the keys, everything was very smooth. Irakliy was always polite, friendly and easy to talk to. He explained the process clearly, helped us...

Irakli was excellent. Above and beyond everywhere. The easiest car buying process I’ve had, and that's saying something since it was an import rather than a physical dealer. Everything was upfront from the beginning: price, fees, timing, what needed to happen, and what I needed to do. No weird negotiation, no surprises, no feeling like...
