The best seat is in the back. Two reclining thrones with ottomans, massage and their own climate. Black over beige. 250 hp hybrid, all-wheel drive. The Alphard grade Europe never got. Delivered to its owner — the next one can be yours.
Commissioned
This Alphard is already with its owner: commissioned from the Japanese domestic market, shipped to Cyprus and handed over to the client. We are keeping it on the site as a picture of what actually arrives when you commission the flagship minivan directly from Japan rather than through a chain of intermediaries. Executive Lounge is the top of the range, the grade in which Alphards carry company directors around Tokyo. In Limassol it looks just as at home: black bodywork, a grille that spans the whole nose, a full-width LED light bar at the rear and 19-inch alloy wheels.
Under the bonnet is a hybrid. The 2.5-litre A25A-FXS petrol engine produces 190 bhp and 236 Nm and works with a front electric motor rated at 182 bhp and 270 Nm, while a separate 54 bhp, 121 Nm motor drives the rear axle. That is how E-Four all-wheel drive works: no propshaft, just instant engagement of the rear wheels on wet tarmac or on the climb to Troodos. Combined system output is 250 bhp through an e-CVT; independent tests put 0 to 100 km/h at around eight and a half seconds. For a vehicle weighing close to 2.3 tonnes the WLTC figure of 6.1 l/100 km is remarkable and CO2 comes out at roughly 0 g/km, while the Start/Stop logic of a hybrid means the engine simply stays silent in seafront traffic.
The point of an Executive Lounge is the second row. Two individual power seats with extending ottoman footrests, heating, ventilation and a massage function, position memory and winged headrests you can genuinely sleep against on the Limassol to Paphos motorway. Each seat has its own control panel in the armrest, its own climate zone with the nanoe X air purification system and its own overhead switches for the twin moonroof shades, the lighting and the sliding doors. Both sliding doors are powered with soft-close latches and the tailgate opens at the touch of a button. Seven seats in total: the third row folds and flips up against the sides to free a luggage bay for a family's suitcases; Toyota does not publish a litre figure, but the deep underfloor well swallows cabin bags even with the third row in use.
The trim is perforated beige leather on every seat, a brown dashboard wrapped in soft leather and wood-effect door inserts that house the speakers of the JBL premium audio system. The driver gets a 14-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a head-up display, a heated steering wheel, keyless start and power-folding mirrors. Parking a vehicle just under five metres long is handled by a rear view camera, a 360-degree camera and parking sensors all round, while the full Toyota Safety Sense suite covers the motorway: adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring and lane keeping assist.
It is right-hand drive, the correct side for Cyprus, which is exactly why the Japanese market remains the best source for an Alphard: the car arrives in factory specification with the complete Executive Lounge package, a grade that is not sold in Europe at all. Mileage at handover was 8,100 km, the MOT runs until October 2028 and the history is backed by the export certificate with its mileage verification.
This example is sold and delivered, but an identical Alphard can be commissioned: we select the car from translated auction sheets, verify its condition through photographs and documents and see it through to registration in Cyprus. Browse the cars currently in stock at our Agios Tychon showroom or write to us and we will talk through colour, specification and timing for your own order.
